Bank of England leaves rate at 5.25% in a 5 to 4 vote with Andrew Bailey casting the deciding vote. Follow the Fed in the US leaving rates unchanged yesterday. The tone from both suggests that while we may not get further hikes, rates will remain 'higher for longer'.
