Safety Story of the day: #CommunityParamedic discovers that one of her clients doesn’t have any working smoke or CO detectors in their apartment. Made connection with Chatham-Kent Fire Pub Ed officer. On duty Fire crew came by and installed these devices. Great community collaboration

Our CP program has had a busy week with delivering our regular home visit model of care, Community Paramedicine at Clinic sessions, several influenza vaccine clinics, and one of CPs is working within a local Family Health Team performing #HealthLink case management for complex clients.

This week we continue to provide the influenza vaccine to high risk clients in their home and #CKOnt first responders. We strive to connect with as many high risk groups as possible to prevent the spreading of influenza throughout the community. #communityparamedicine

Digital Health platforms has become a vital tool and resources for our CP program. Access to such technology has given us to ability to serve more clients, gain more comprehensive clinical information about our clients, and have allowed us to be more effective in their care.
