MLB postseason recap: The Detroit Tigers suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Mariners, who suffered an even more tragic loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, who suffered an even more gut-wrenching loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series. Bizarre chain of events.

With the Dodgers using all 4 of their postseason starting pitchers yesterday it makes me think why didn’t Jim Leyland do this back in the 2013 ALCS when the Tigers were stacked with Verlander, Scherzer, Fister & Sanchez? I guess times have changed a lot since then.

Today is day one of the offseason. I think I’ll try to share some cards each and everyday. Expect to see plenty of Darvish & Tanaka, as well as other Japanese stars and a few Tigers. I’ll start with some Daisuke.
