A Prayer Journey through Lent starts today in primary schools linked with the Church Of Ireland Centre, DCU. Schools have received packs of slides with reflection topics/prayers from Praying Together- a new topic for each day. A simple but important way to mark the season of Lent. Church of Ireland
Over 130 classrooms are following the Prayer Journey through Lent. They are pausing each day to reflect on a theme. Great to hear positive feedback like this: ‘Children and staff are really enjoying the resources and feel it is having a positive impact in their lives’. Church Of Ireland Centre, DCU

I am presenting 4 webinars for teachers this week. These are designed to support those new to teaching specific books in the Follow Me Religious Education programme. At the Church of Ireland Centre service and prize giving yesterday Rachel Denner, Amy Fletcher, Zoe Harper, Molly Healy, Rebecca Lyster & Andrew Arnopp were awarded prizes in the 4 year Certificate in Religious Education taught by Dr Jacqui Wilkinson. Church of Ireland
At the pre-graduation service this week, placement awards were given to Rebecca Lyster Elvie McAdoo Amy McCullagh Ella Patten Emily Saunders and Isobel Wallace. Huge congratulations to Cathy Galbraith, the DCU Institute of Education recipient of the Vere Foster medal for outstanding Placement.
