During recent med reviews found 2 pts w chronic diarrhea from metformin that went unnoticed for yrs b/c nobody specifically asked. One housebound x1yr & one w acute renal failure from dehydration. Talk about a simple fix. Let’s all regularly ask pts on metformin about diarrhea.
