My word. 3-15 FG. 1-7 threes. One ball thrown directly out of bounds, another dribbled off a foot. 4 total TOs. SGA already has 11. Wolves down 22-7 late Q1, and better pull whatever chute the packed or this one's gonna get away from them in a hurry.

Being down 22 isn't a death sentence. Ask the Knicks. Or Pacers.Or regular season Wolves. But my goodness, they gotta find a gear on offense. *Nothing* happening on offense. Just inexplicable turnovers and missed open shots. Yes, OKC's NBA-best D has something to do with it.

Feels like OKC's series-long pace and pressure - on both ends, but especially defense - has completely worn the Wolves out mentally and physically. They just can't find any answers tonight. Can't get a stop on D, can't string together any sort of run on O.

Last year, with the season on the line in Game 5... the Wolves trailed Dallas 69-40 at halftime. Tonight, with the season on the line in Game 5... the Wolves trail OKC 65-32 at halftime.

And now, OKC is sprinting to the wire. They haven't let up an ounce. Only allowed 9 Q1 points, led by 33 at halftime.. but they weren't going to settle for a TKO. They're still swinging with 9 to go... up 101-69.

And Correa ships the first pitch of the 10th into the seats. …and his trot was hilarious. Went from “that’s a no-doubter” trot… to “uh-oh, better get going” gallop … to “I was right the first time”.

Ok, fellas. Make this lead stick. Gotta get a kid to a softball diamond by 7:15a. (Second straight tourney they’ve saddled us with an 8am Saturday opener. Whom did we tick off?!)

Chris Long (@chrislongkstp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

That oughta do it. Twins trailed 6-3 going to the 9th… now lead 12-6 in the top of 10. Fairly remarkable rally these last two frames.

I’ve been out and about tonight and trying to keep tabs on the Twins. Help me out w Knicks/Pacers. Is that game legit close or has there been a strong lean toward influencing away from an OKC/Indy Finals?
