Due to a major injury crash, Oak Avenue is currently closed in both directions from Main Avenue to just west of Cardwell Avenue with an unknown estimated time of re-opening. Please be patient and avoid the area as first responders are busy with their investigation. Thank you.

Officers are on scene of a major injury crash in front of Trajan Elementary School. Two male juveniles who were not wearing helmets crashed into the right rear of a Toyota 4Runner. Both juveniles were transported to area hospitals w/possible critical injuries.

The Prairie City Rd. off-ramp, from westbound US-50 is currently closed due to a traffic collision. There is no estimated time of reopening.

The off-ramp is now open.

One-way traffic control is in effect near 12929 Jackson Highway due to an overturned dump truck. Drive with caution as we work diligently investigating the crash. Driver was seen getting into a black pickup truck pulling a trailer and leaving the scene prior to our arrival.

Multi-vehicle crash snarling traffic westbound on US-50 west of Hazel. Traffic is backed up and CHP is on in scene. Use caution on your morning commute!

Westbound US-50 between E. Bidwell St. and Prairie City Rd. is reduced down to one lane due to multiple crashes, including one crash with a rollover vehicle. Slow down and please be patient as multiple agencies are working to clear the traffic lanes.

We’re working the scene of an overturned camper van on Grant Line Rd, north of Kiefer Rd. The vehicle was completely pushed out of the road and will remain there until a tow truck arrives on scene. At that time, Grant Line Rd will be temporarily closed for approx. 15 minutes.

US-50 near Sunrise FLOODED! Steady rain has brought flooding to the HOV lanes of both east- and westbound US-50 just east of Sunrise Blvd. Slow down, use extreme caution when changing lanes to your right when trying to avoid, stay focused on the road ahead of you. #eastsacchp

Patrol vehicle hit on US-50 west of Sunrise Blvd. Both vehicles now on the shoulder w/tow trucks on scene. Officer and responsible party are okay but please be cautious in inclement weather. SLOW DOWN, use your headlights, and drive with extra caution as roadways are flooding!
