There aren't a lot of fish genera out there that begin with the letter F, so this species was new to me! Fenestraja sinusmexicanus, the Gulf of Mexico pygmy skate, can grow to be ~35 cm long which makes it a bit smaller than most skates. #FishABC 📷: FAO Illustration
