I can’t believe we made it! The last day of school! I am so proud of the staff and students at Copper Hill School. They wore masks, they washed hands, they distanced from their friends…and that helped ME enable our doors to stay open the whole school year!

Today is Neonatal Nurse’s Day! You may not be aware, but I spent over 20 years as a NICU nurse before becoming a school nurse. These tiny angels are truly miracles!

Today I met Madeline Rose (Maddie) our new therapy dog at Copper Hill! She is getting acclimated this week and will soon be meeting with students. She is the SWEETEST!

What a wonderful morning meeting our new kindergartners at orientation!

Just a reminder that all medical forms were due August 1st! Incoming kindergartners need a physical exam (dated AFTER 8/1/22) and a record of immunizations. Any student with asthma or food allergies require medical forms from their healthcare provider.

Does your child have food allergies? Will you want them to buy lunch in school? BEFORE your child can buy lunch, you must contact Maschios to establish a “safe menu” for your child.
