While others debate consent decree, Ferguson earns results. This MO Blue Shield award shows what happens when you mix transparency, proactive policing & community trust. Consent decree or not, we’re walking the walk.

Today’s incident at Home Depot was handled quickly, Ferguson officers arrived in less than 2 minutes. Working with regional partners, the suspect was taken into custody and a weapon recovered within a hour of the incident. Great job by all involved.

I’ve been doing this job over 35 years, and one thing that’s never sat right with me is when victims get victimized twice. A homicide victim’s family couldn’t afford the $800 tow bill. That car was all they had left of him. Our tow partner waived it. No spotlight. Just heart.

This woman right here? She raised our kids, lifted my spirit, prayed over our family, and never asked for credit. Today she turns a year older. And I just want the world to know, I married a real one! Happy Birthday, Yolanda. #StillInLove

This Sunday, Aug 10 from 1–2PM, we’re hosting a Day of Healing & Prayer at the Ferguson PD lot. No politics, no speeches, just people coming together to lift up TJ and pray for our community. If you feel led, come stand with us. All are welcome. #CommunityUnity

We could fire every mayor and every police chief across America
But the shooters and criminals would still be out there. Let’s be clear: Leadership plays a role, but the blame and focus should always be on the individuals committing these violent crimes.

Just read the list: *Stolen BMW. *Blew through a red light. *Crashes into an innocent driver. *Tries to carjack another vehicle. *Fights a man for his gun. *Carrying narcotics. Glad we got him off our streets; someone this reckless is a threat to the general public.

It’s been almost a year since TJ Officer was injured protecting our community. His family lives that day over and over. He’s relearning basic things we take for granted. Sunday, 1–2PM at Ferguson PD, join me & his family to lift them in prayer. #CommunityUnity

For the first time in 11 years, Ferguson saw no protests on Aug. 9. This milestone belongs to our passionate community & officers committed to serving with heart. When you see them, say “thank you.” Those 2 words go a long way. #FergusonStrong

Even when the numbers say crime is down, our job’s not done until every neighbor feels it. Safety isn’t just measured in stats, it’s felt on the streets. #SafetyYouCanFeel

I’m not here to debate immigration raids, but here’s an idea: People can’t always tell if masked men in unmarked cars are agents or impostors. A hologram+QR badge showing a 6-digit code, verified with the feds, could give certainty without revealing identities. #CommunitySafety

Yes, gunfire is down 31%. But that number is meaningless to me if you still have a fear of crime and don't feel safe coming outside. The bottom line is this: The true measure of safety isn't a statistic, It's when our community is no longer afraid. #CommunityOverStats

31 years ago, I was blessed to marry the love of my life. She’s been my anchor, my partner, and my greatest gift. I’m grateful for every moment we’ve shared and every chapter still to come. Happy Anniversary, my love. #31Years

Flew to Omaha this past weekend to visit Officer Brown— one of our own who was seriously injured in the line of duty. I had the honor of draping him with The Wounded Blue’s Blue Heart Award.
