Ramona Tasana from the Interreg Europe Secretariat informs us about the results from the previous programme and compliments the Cherish partnership for its contribution to it. The new 2021- 2027 programme offers many opportunities for #culturalheritage and fishery communities.

CHERISH partner Gemeente Middelburg presents the different best practices of crossovers between cultural heritage and food, fashion, design, and tourim industry. Tiny Maenhout and Gerard van Keken showed some inspiring examples. Did you spot the tradional sweaters from fisheries?

Dr Tim Acott from the University of Greenwich gives away a marvellous speech on marine fisheries and their diverse values: heritage, culture and sustainable development during CHERISH_EU final conference, also touching upon the Pericles Project that provided valuable knowledge.

The importance of stakeholder involvement in CHERISH, including communication tools and effectiveness of the CHERISH participatory processes, is presented by Jane Hofmann of the EUCC - Deutschland and illustrated through an interview with Mr Sebastià Salas Serra from the Fishermen Guild.
