Wow hmmmmmm what @UTSW_ROPhysRes

Ceci died unexpectedly on Dec 5, 2022 at 14 months old. She was our daughter & we are devastated. She was so smart, smiley, stubborn & squishy. She adored the rabbits in our yard & playing with her nanny “Shang NaiNai” & sisters. She is loved & missed beyond comprehension (1/5).

Today was the birthday of our Chief Physicist Steve Jiang. We had a suprise party, and all dressed as Steve to celebrate. Thanks to Mu-Han Lin and David Parsons for the idea and our admins for organizing. UTSW Radiation Oncology

The cover for the party was a celebration of our physicists who recently passed ABR pt 2 or 3. We did also recognize them as well.

UTSW Radiation Oncology hosted a #medphys outreach event for local physics students today. I helped give a tour of our CT simulator. Andrew Godley, Chenyang Shen, and I had fun scanning everyday objects hidden under a sheet and asking the students to guess what they were. Any guesses?

Over the last couple of weeks, our medical physics faculty have given talks to multiple universities around DFW to share information on the field of medical physics. Today, over 20 students came to an open house today to tour our facility and see physics in radiation oncology!
