I agree it's absolutely soul destroying watching the corrupt thrive . A completely new regulator is needed, plus a full inquiry .

Classic charity commission, only acted when legal case was brought. We'd be interested to know how many complaints the CC got prior to this. We could put in FOI but they'd say it wasn't in public interest cos blah blah (it'd be damaging to our charity if we knew they were corrupt

Misuse - formally known as fraud, stealing theft. Usually resulting in return of goods + prison/criminal record unless you've run a charity, gentle slap on wrists, don't do it again, 3 - 15Yr ban on being trustee Gosh that must be tough Only happened cos of private legal case

A registered charity, the commission are aware, have received many complaints from many members (highly qualified, trustworthy articulate) over many years....it'll take a private legal action

Charities are supposed to be honest. Some decide a little lie to the public is worth it to get that money in, some think a big lie is fine too..Totally lost touch with those they lie to to get their dosh and with the concept of Charity If only we had a regulator to remind them...

This is how they deal with pesky public daring to highlight criminality, supp its our loud noise that are a threat to charity, not the criminality
