The dramas of me moving my hand while snuggling with my friends dog is real. Between this floof, the one with the ears and the hydrangea …. Idk who’s more dramatic. And I love them.

In 8 days I require the accountability of progression in my writing. Short of someone chasing me with a frying pan, where does one get that in a way that overcomes my own feelings of imposter syndrome and incompetence?

I think I just noticed that I’m tired of being the responsible, dependable friend. But I can’t stop bc I was raised thinking that being a good person means being responsible and dependable and NEVER selfish /1

So essentially that just means I get excited to be needed and then feel really really terrible when I don’t feel needed or useful. (Ya know. Instead of just being glad there’s other people). And then taking a min for me /2

Feels selfish and irresponsible. And so does saying no. This is repeatedly reinforced by the profession I’m in (helping people do the knowledge), and in the end makes me feel like shit. Also I just tweeted 3x like anyone actually cares or reads it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 /3

My sister in law going through my books: “ooohhh what’s this. *picks up @jenstjude ‘s release and reads inside* F*CKING PLOT TWIST. Yes to borrow, thanks.” #iftomorrowdoesntcome
