Today we commemorate, honour & pay tribute to Indigenous soldiers, past & present, who fought for Canada’s freedom amid advocating for their own, and being channels for peace & mediation. Indigenous soldiers brought invaluable skills that were crucial in 🇨🇦’s military success.

Our class enjoyed their visit to the learning commons today. Thank you Mrs. Frost for reading us #abuelitaandme and engaging us in our continued conversations on racism and microaggressions.

Today we celebrated these awesome students for having helped out during our St. Kateri Tekakwitha School book fair. They were so surprised to have a “party” with popcorn, hot chocolate and LOTS of marshmallows. They even got to sit in the teacher’s area of the LC. So exciting! #BeSKT
