The Center for Excellence for Training and Research in Human Resources for Health of the Department of Public Health University of Calabar, Nigeria is a National collaborating Center for Education and training in health planning and management.

2. Center of Excellence for Research& Training in HRH has conducted a number of trainings. Most recently, the center in year 2019 conducted a 5 day training on Human Resource for Health and also Gender trainings. These trainings were handled by highly trained facilitators and lecturers of the

3. Department of Public Health University of Calabar. The training involved participants from Bauchi State Ministry of Health, and this was organised in collaboration with our esteemed partners such as Canada in EU 🇨🇦🇪🇺 Population Council World Health Organization (WHO)

These trainings were also graced by dignitaries in the University administration who also rendered their support to the activities of the center.

In April 2019, the Center also conducted the Human Resource for Health training in Uyo for dignitaries of MDAs in Cross River State, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health. Sessions were held, & all participants synergized to great effect

The trainings offered by Center of Excellence for Research& Training in HRH earn participants prestigious certificates that gives participants the right to step down the achieved knowledge to persons in different works of life to help improve the technical capacity of the Health workforce
