Been stuck at Yulara Airport for past 11 hours now and the plane Jetstar Airways has sent to take us home to Qld now has an issue with the bathrooms on board so we can’t get on.

Michael Gunner I’m a Qlder who has been stuck at Ayers Rock Airport for 11 hours. The plane Jetstar sent to take us home has finally arrived but now there is an “issue” with the bathroom on board and they aren’t letting us on.

They told us this morning that we couldn’t leave the airport because we’d have to go into a 14 day quarantine here in NT.

Airport staff are saying if we don’t get on flight tonight we’ll have to quarantine in Alice Springs - a 6 hour bus ride away
