Thank you so much to our brilliant PTA for securing £500 from Asda. We used the money to purchase a range of new non fiction texts. Here is a picture of just a selection of the books. Thank you to BookwagonUK for all their help with picking the new books.

We’ve had a brilliant first day back at school today! It was great to share the amazing Be Normal by Ged Adamson in our very first whole school assembly of the year, the book is all about the importance of being yourself.

Year Six had an amazing time walking up Blencathra today! In tricky windy conditions the pupils showed so much perseverance to make it to the summit. A brilliant way to launch this year’s adventure curriculum.

We were thrilled to welcome award winning author Tom Palmer to Class Four today. Tom took time out of his busy schedule to talk to the pupils about his next two writing projects. As a special treat, he generously gifted each pupil a signed copy of one of his books.
