Listening to 17-year-old Alex McEleney as he tells us about his experience of having cancer 3 times since the age of 11 as part of discussion panel on the pscho-oncology model of care and the need for appropriate services for different ages. #CAYAS2023

I'm so glad to see these gaps being addressed. The psychology support that we received was minimal. To attempt to cover this gap it became the equivalent of a second mortgage for our family. I've some hope that families will receive better support going forward. #CAYAS2023

Unfortunately no progress on the zero support provided after treatment. Let's hope the progress continues survivors deserve better. It will be a conversation I have with everyone that knocks on my door for a vote. Children and young people deserve better. #CAYAS2023

Ethel speaks about her experience of supporting her child in school. It would be fantastic if there was a key worker who could support your child and the school. It's exhausting for parents to relay the same information again and again. #CAYAS2023

Outrageous. I finished a 26 hour reg shift this morning. I and everyone on my rota have to do this once a week, as a direct result of not having enough staff, chronically and by design. It is not fair on doctors and it is not safe for patients. You get what you pay for.
