Do you have any unwanted plastic cat carriers lying around in your shed or loft? Our adoption centre on Packhorse Lane #Birmingham B47 5DH would love to take them! We offer preloved carriers to our adopters for a small donation, so you'd be saving space AND raising funds ❤️

One of our Meet and Greet Volunteers, Trish, has been busy sorting out a huge donation of cat food pouches! If you'd like to help us, donations can be dropped off between 11am and 2pm daily (excluding Wednesday).

Maddie is feeling like the cat's whiskers after settling into her new home. She's even befriended the family rabbits, one of whom likes to chase her around the sofa! We've got our fingers crossed for some videos of them playing together, so keep your eyes peeled for updates 👀

Good news! Cat theft is set to become a new specific offence as the Pet Abduction Bill passes its final stages. This will help keep cats safe, give owners reassurance that police will investigate pet theft, and deter criminals looking to exploit our much loved cats. 🐾

A group of our employees and volunteers attended Birmingham Pride a couple of weeks ago and walked with Dogs Trust 💛🐶 and Blue Cross UK! Many others will be celebrating and representing Cats Protection at events this #PrideMonth. We’re here for every cat and every cat owner.

We, along with many others, have lobbied for compulsory microchipping for pet cats, and we are thrilled this has become law in England today! Microchipping your cat gives them the best chance of being returned home to you if they were ever to go missing. spr.ly/Microchipping
