The United States, capitalist media, and pro-U.S. interventionists continue to raise a false alarm about the supposed “authoritarian” nature of the Bolivarian Revolution and the Maduro-led government. However, we must always remember to “consider the source.”

The notion that the U.S., or any of its allies and supporters, is concerned about authoritarianism is absurd on its very face. This concern is merely imperialism in a cheap disguise.

So we say free President Nicolas Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores, stop the war on Venezuela, and STFU about “authoritarianism!” #nowaronvenezuela
