The boys played phenomenal in these cold, windy conditions. We shot 336 today which is another notch on the belt for our scoring goals! Dylan continues his outstanding season with a top 10 finish and an outstanding 77 today! Lucas I. set a new tournament best 81, finishing 19th!

The Trojans went on the road to Sunset Landing to play JPII today. While the varsity squads did not play, the JV Boys won thank to some spectacular golf! The Lady Trojans played as individuals in the Jetplex. Both, Dakota and Jenna walked away with another win in their belts!

The JV Boys played a solid match and won 193-233. Lucas G was near perfect today beating his opponent by 21 over 9 holes! 1st year golfer, Hayes finished 2nd overall, posting a career best. The remaining JV boys Kekoa, Cole, and Aaron swept the JPII boys moving to 3-1 on the year

GOLF UPDATE: The girls shot 150 as a team today against MCHS, one of the better team scores in 5 years, we came up short today. Dakota had her best performance in match play, beating her best total by 5, Jenna was off her career best by just 1, and Edison had her career best day!

The boys team came in at 5-0, on a 7 match winning streak! They gave those attending phenomenal golf and a Mount Rushmore performance! We shot 7 over for the day and got a 155-172 win. Moving to 6-0 and giving us an 8 match winning streak!

Preston set the Hazel Green High School Sophomore scoring record in match play with a -2 performance that led the Trojans and tied the scoring lead. Dylan finished right behind Preston at -1 and shot -3 on the year in match play at home. Lucas was also 1 off his best shooting 39!

Scoring update from the 2025 MCSS Tournament at The Colonial Golf Club! The Trojans dominated the JV Boys tournament earning the win behind a stellar performance from individual champion Lucas G! Shoutout to our All-County JV Team members Lucas G, Bradley, and Hayes!

Scoring update from the 2025 MCSS Tournament at The Colonial Golf Club! The varsity boys topple defending champions Sparkman to win the boys first County since 2016! Lucas I was low medalist with a 71! Dylan Burcham was right behind him with a 73 and was All-County!

We want to thank The Colonial Golf Club for being an excellent host! The course was in the best shape I’ve ever seen it in and the staff was fantastic! Thank you to parents, golfers, coaches, and staff who participated in County and making it a smashing success!

We had beautiful weather today for our last varsity regular season tournament. Varsity girls, boys, and JV boys traveled to Moulton to play in the NW AL Invitational at Deer Run. VG and VB finished 3rd, just missing out on hardware, and JV Boys finished 12th in a varsity event!

We want to shoutout Dylan, Lucas I, and Dakota for finishing in the top 10 for the tournament, Nathan and Jenna for finishing in the top 20, and Cameron, Hayes, and Nathan for setting career bests in tournament play!

Hazel Green sweeps Albertville at Big Spring Lake! Stellar performances from Dylan and Lucas I. keep the varsity boys undefeated in match play in a narrow 167-168 win over the Aggies while newcomers Hayes and Cole set personal records and led the JV to a 185-190 victory!

Dylan & Lucas I. shot 37 & led the field on a difficult approach shots & short game day. Nathan & Preston showed high character & integrity worthy of emphasizing their play & values we promote within HG golf. Hayes & Cole set personal bests and lit up the greens during the match!

For boys Sectionals, we had our first qualify in 7 years as Dylan Burcham beat University of Alabama commit Andrew Hinson in a 2 hole playoff! It was exhilarating to watch & rewarding to see the hard work, impeccable work ethic, & dedication be rewarded to an amazing young man!

Dylan and Jenna will move on to Sub-State as individuals and play May 6th at Terrapin Hills! It’s been a great season and a blessing to watch it all unfold!
