The first day of the #KrishiSakhis training programme is over. 33 women farmers 👩‍🌾, and some children, came from all over our project sites in Uttar Pradesh to learn how to grow new high-value crops such as black wheat and marigold.

The third workshop of the #KrishiSakhis training programme was on basic #Financial management💰 After learning about concepts such as long- and short term savings goals and how to track income and expenses, the women created their own budgets in groups. #empoweringwomen

Oorja was invited to lead a workshop on Food and Agro-Processing as part of the GIZ ICONE investor conference held in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was an interactive and fruitful discussion with representatives of the #agri industry, investors, policymakers and entrepreneurs.
