"Another beautiful morning... It's strange. Why is it not raining at all?" Confused Sophie noises. She was kept up all night from those strange nightmares.

"That's a lie and you know it."

"Quiet. I don't want to hear it."

(🍰) In all honesty, I am glad that @TheSecondOath has taken over the role as THE Sophie. I love writing as her but I'm not here consistently enough. If I were to come back permanently to SC verse, it may actually be as Setsuka. Either way. Follow her.

"I have returned again. Although now, I have a much simpler blade."

The woman has returned from a nearby mountain trail. Her clothes, torn and tattered. Her body beaten. Her weapon bloodied. A mortal battle had ensued, one that Sophitia had no choice but to win. "... this is why I am not worthy of the holy weapons."

"Indeed it does. I understand why people may decide to steal from weary travellers, though I do not condone it. What I find unusual is for them to not yield."

The woman merely remained where she had seated herself. Too much pain was burning through her to move. "Yes. Those weapons feel heavier than usual. Not only that, but brittle as well. I would need both hands to swing the blade fpr it only to break upon first impact."

"There must be something that can be said." A small smile escaped the girl. "Happy birthday, dearest sister."
