English friends, do you know the Midnight Oil song 'Read About It?' If we play our version in your land will you have any idea that it is a song from the 80s criticising the Murdoch Press?

We are very proud to have been a part of this production and the telling of this tale, writing and recording the soundtrack. 'Close To The Bone' is a strikingly good documentary - on air tomorrow ABC TV.

We board the plane in Naarm/Melbourne at 7:30am tomorrow morning and are so excited that we cannot focus properly - a problem when packing for tour but excellent for dancing around your house and over watering the plants. Playing @theslughteredlam in Clerkenwell.

Our member, Jon Lusk's latest article in BBC BBC Music Magazine is "a trip in sounds ancient and modern from Australia to Nigeria". Featuring BushGothic, harp/kora collab Catrin and Seckou, Tasha Smith Godinez, Benin's Star Feminine Band and John NetworQ. We can't wait to have a listen!

Was Ma Kelly (Ned's mum) Past Carin? She gave birth to 12 children, one of whom -the famous one - was hung at the Old Melbourne Gaol whilst she was a prisoner herself there. We are happy she has Magic The Stolen Horse.

Should we be concerned that our music sounds better played backwards? Something to discuss at our Youtube Watch Party tonight 6PM AUS EST, 7AM UK. Folk heckles tolerated, strictly only one jazz heckle per person: youtube.com/watch?v=wcxxTz…
