Today we are taking a look into the world of #SEM today, with a #Backscatteredelectron image of a possible #MartianMeteorite ☄️ using the Monash Earth, Atmosphere and Environment 🌏🌪️🍃 SEM. Now comes the cool part: investigating if it is in fact from #Mars! 🌑 Monash Science #Geology #Meteorite

We are back in the world of experimental #petrology today with an image from the SEM at Monash Earth, Atmosphere and Environment 🌏🌪️🍃!🔬 @geology_sarah and Zsanett Pintér, the screens are showing a XP #microscope image of a beautiful clinopyroxene, an #eclogite with it's EDS spectra & the #SEM Image of the eclogite! 💫

Step by step, the #MarsHelicopter Ingenuity is getting ready to drop to the surface. Once it’s all unfolded, with four legs down, I’ll be able to cut it free.
