He's wrong. The average HS class ranking for Michigan from 2019-2023 was 11.4. Clemson's average HS ranking from 2013-17 was 13.4. Both competed/won natties. IF you hit on QB and a few other positions, it gives you much more margin for error with HS recruiting.

The question isn't did we win because we were robbed of the opportunity....it's were we talented enough to do so? And the answer to that is an EASY yes. That's not debateable.

All a team can do is put themselves in position. A ton of crazy talented teams don't win natties...way more factors than talent involved...scheduling, injury luck, coaching etc. If you can't refute FSU was talented enough to win a natty in 2023(and you can't). Stop wasting time.
