Genuine question: What legitimately is the logic behind the NBA approving Cade’s request and not Ant’s? Truly I do not understand. Is there something I am missing?

The rule was incredibly flawed in the first place. But now the NBA has set the precedent that you can appeal against it, therefore why even have it in the first place? I completely understand the case for Luka. However, by accepting Cade’s appeal you have negated all legitimacy.
