Earlier today Commissioner Rob Manfred, alongside special guests Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard and Albert Pujols, announced that MLB, in partnership with Tapscott Learning Trust and BaseballSoftballUK, would fund a permanent recreational baseball diamond at Ranelagh Primary School

If you build it, they will come! MLB, the St. Louis Cardinals and Cubs Charities pledged a total of $35K for a new baseball field at Ranelagh Primary School in London.

MLB Our pupils have already been inspired by the #MLBFirstPitch programme delivered with BaseballSoftball𝙐𝙆 Youth Sport Trust and now look forward to the legacy programme that will grow the game and the love of baseball in the Learn Tapscott schools and wider community

Former Newell's Old Boys players Miguel D'Agostino and Fernando Bacci visited the Isaac Newell Soccer Centre in Kent, England today to immerse themselves in the origins of their home club. They are now both members of Mauricio Pochettino's coaching team at Chelsea FC.

They were greeted in Kent by members of the Medway Sport team led by Jon Rye and also Adrian Pope (Vamos Newell's (Isaac Newell/Newell's Old Boys)), an amateur historian who brought the story of Isaac Newell to his home country after discovering Newell's Old Boys while travelling in Argentina.
