Last night our officers were called to #Strood to assist Kent Police (UK) with recovery of a weapon used in a serious assault. The weapon was thrown trackside and a search team from Kent Police (UK) found the item in thick undergrowth. We assisted with access along with Network Rail Kent & Sussex

A male has been arrested at #Ashford for possession of class A drugs. This was after a call from Southeastern staff about a concern for a male with white powder round his nose. He was searched and found in possession of the drug. He is now off to hospital prior to custody.

A male & female have been arrested at #Gillingham this evening for being drunk and disorderly, after a call for a concern for a female at the station. When police arrived on scene a male was arrested and the female then assaulted one of our officers, she was further arrested.

The persons arrested in this case have been charged to appear at court for the offences of being drunk and disorderly and assaulting an emergency service worker, where one of our officers was kicked in the chest and scratched.

The female in this case has been bailed pending further enquires and a full case file to be built in regard to the offences. Due to the females actions the power had to be turned off resulting in 1211 minutes of delays to 17 trains costing a total of £102,130 to Network Rail Kent & Sussex.

Last night a female was arrested by our night turn officers at #CanterburyEast on suspicion of racially aggravated public order and criminal damage. She was bailed to appear back at custody today to be interviewed for the offences above.

Today, the Bromley team linked up with a Designing Out Crime Officer to assess how we can reduce specific crimes in the area through redesigning the environment. DOCO and Doggo took some great ideas away, and we are excited for the opportunity to improve safety and reduce crime!

We are currently on scene at #Gillingham and we have the male with us currently safe and we have South East Coast Ambulance on scene assessing him.

We are glad to report that the male in this case was absoutley fine, he was taken to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance as he had not been taking his medication for a number of weeks. No further action will be taken at this and he will be left in the care of health professionals now.

Some good results of late in the Sevenoaks area, coming from excellent joint working with Kent Police Officers in Sevenoaks and our Bromley Proactive Neighbourhood Team, targeting ASB on the network.
