A busy weekend for our GP Dogs & Handlers so far, deployed in and around the #NottingHillCarnival footprint assisting divisional officers in ensuring a safe and enjoyable Carnival for the attending public. These are some of our GP Dogs deployed to the event 🐾

A section 60 order, providing officers with additional search powers, will be in force in the Carnival area until 2am. A section 60AA order is also in force, providing officers with the power to order the removal of face coverings being used to conceal a person's identity.

Today we remember Nottinghamshire Police Sergeant Graham Saville, who sadly passed away a year ago today on the railway whilst responding to a concern for the welfare of a man on 24 August. Our thoughts and condolences remain with his family, friends, and colleagues.
