It’s feeling a bit Christmassy in the food department this week with year 9s decorating their Christmas cakes. They have planned, made, iced and decorated these over the past few weeks. 🎄🎄🎄

Year 7s made bread today in their lesson. Looking at the functions of ingredients & shaping their own rolls. Thank you to one of our students who has made a traditional Russian bread for us all to share! Thank you! ☺️

We are thrilled to let you know about one of our students recent achievements at COM. Sonal was selected as the best Centre Back by her coach when picking an “all star team” for the U18 conference League. Absolutely fantastic! 🌟

Excellent team work in food today. The first being with 7E making hummus & presenting it at the end of the lesson.

Another great example of collaboration this time with Year 8 making bruschetta in groups. De skinning tomatoes 🍅 and thinking carefully about their presentation skills.
