On April 16, 2022, Aaliyah Gayles was shot at least 18 times at a house party. On Friday, she checked into her first basketball game in 574 days for the USC Trojans to a standing ovation.

Game day = only 5% of your actual performance. 95% is preparation, practicing & improving. Everyone loves to perform on game day, but more important is how you are using the 95% that prepares you for games. What’s done as a team & individually will be 100% revealed during the 5%!

When schools take athletics seriously, it lets me know that they understand that athletics serve as a commercial for a school's enrollment.

"We live in a result oriented world. Everything is about results and very little is about the process. But, everything we do is about the process of what it takes to get the results. You've got to have a team full of champions before you're ever going to win a championship."
