Bryan Black the CEO of ChipletZ, holding his first HBM baby - the Fiji GPU. I credit Bryan’s passion and persistence to the existence of HBM today..story follows I first met Bryan in 2007-8 right after AMD acquired ATI - he was working for AMD. He was doing a “skunkworks”

Mellanox Technologies TLR4-00980CH-10CE, otherwise known as the Tilera TILE-Gx9. This has an incredibly new fab date of week 21 2019. I pulled this box out of service last night in favor of an Atom P5362-based router; it served me extremely well for 4 years.

FYI: Supermicro is requiring new board revisions for Turin support. Every other vendor appears to support EPYC 9005 with a simple UEFI update.
