In Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, BI facilitated TT vaccinations for over 16 equines through LHPs under its expert guidance. Additionally, STFs conducted hands-on training for local farriers in accurate hoof trimming techniques and empowered equine owners with vital hoof care knowledge.

Rann Utsav in Kutch, Gujarat, celebrates art, culture, and heritage. Equine owners ferry tourists through the white salt desert, supporting both the festival and their livelihoods. BI connects them with LHPs for first-aid, and ensures water and fodder for the equines.

After continuous collaborative efforts by Brooke India, the SPCA Infirmary in Karnal is now operational! This facility will provide critical care for stray and injured animals. Our recent workshop brought key stakeholders together for this milestone.

Brooke India organised an SPCA workshop in Buxar, Bihar, with key animal husbandry officials and veterinary doctors. It emphasised forming district-level SPCAs and highlighted India's Animal Welfare Guidelines for working equines in brick kilns—a crucial step in animal welfare.

During a visit to DJ Brick Kiln in Bharuch, Gujarat we discovered Dholu, a donkey with a severe hip injury. Despite the owner's attempt to treat the wound, it became infected. Our team, with help from the GVO, treated Dholu urgently and set a care plan ensuring a quick recovery.

At the Bhatner Equine Fair in Hanumangarh, Brooke India and AHD Rajasthan set up an Emergency Treatment Camp, providing urgent care for equines. Our team treated colic, injuries, infections, and lameness, held equine care sessions, and ensured access to water, shade, and fodder.

In Uttarkashi's rugged terrain, Brooke India, with support from the AHD, Uttarakhand, hosted an Equine Health Camp in Khaladi village where 60 equines received mineral mixtures, dewormers, and owners received emergency kits, enhancing equine welfare in remote Himalayan regions.
