80 years ago, history turned a page as Canadian soldiers landed on Juno Beach.

We remember the brave soldiers who stepped off the landing boats and went headfirst into enemy fire to secure the beaches of Normandy, clearing the path for Operation Overlord and the allied advance to the heart of Nazi Germany.

Today, commemorations are being held in Moncton, N.B., the National War Memorial in Ottawa and Normandy, France to commemorate the dedication of those who sacrificed for us on June 6, 1944. #CanadaRemembers
