We just got the news that our son has won his CFA Unit's Best Fireman Award for the year. Beyond proud. He trains hard & takes it all very seriously. And loves it.

I've got a farmer's market and a ticket for the spring spectacular garden show in Bathurst- wandering around other people's gardens. I've got a million things to do but somehow I've managed to gather them all onto one weekend. So of course I'm sitting in bed.

When you're a 2-year-old & you smash your face & have to have surgery to remove teeth & stitch your split lip up, you get a certificate & a visit from the tooth fairy when you get home. A lot to celebrate, surviving a horrible accident. We're all greatly relieved to have her OK.
