The 1200 mtr start past ⁦HKJC Racing⁩ offices on sports rd to the HK football club - my walk this morning inside the running rail Fortunately I mainly went around that running rail when riding there. 😂

The 1000 mtr & 2400 mtr starts down hill for prob 150 - 200 mtrs

Not only a racecourse - busy every morning with sport

In my day this highest point of the back stretch was known as The Rock

For those that are interested this is the start of the decent from the 600 mtrs to the turn in

About where I’m standing was the 1400 mtr start on the dirt at HV. Do you think that wasn’t rock and roll to the first turn - I rode on that in 1983-4 on my way to England for 3 months, loved it. Disneyland for adults - was Hong Kong 💰& great fun

From the winning post to the 1200 mtrs, note the rise, which on tv you may not appreciate. Thats it punters, day 2 in HK

The drainage inside the track is amazing and why you don’t get heavy tracks, they are probably 5-6 feet deep

Brilliant, is it not, how this famous racecourse is utilised of a morning for general exercise & sports.

Old habit die hard 😂 The Captain’s bar - The Mandarin and serve 00 🍺 - had drop by, be rude not to.

It would be stupid to have pop up bars & food at our racetracks in Australia. This has a Korean theme tonight and it’s about to go off at the Valley 🎶
