we have to address a primary contradiction in this new phase of our struggle. should we ever rely on the biggest threat to life on earth for our provisions of anything? And we may all know the answer is naw, but how will we make it otherwise while also reducing harm and fallout?

Many many people are going to die, people you don’t give af about and people you love alike, if we do not shake our individualism — which is a prerequisite to building any kind of survival infrastructure to bolster our communities for fighting back.

I want to push back and say that prison abolition is not this…it’s actually the hardest parts of praxis. It’s completely redefining how we look at crime, punishment, and community. It’s not easy and it’s not baking lasagna.

What this person is describing is being in community, mutual aid. abolition is when a person in my community had to hold their immeasurable pain while also deciding to advocate not to send the person to prison who accidentally shot their kid…casserole not gonna cut it babes.

Please stop sugarcoating and using euphemisms to describe the VIOLENCE and FOOD APARTHEID and WASTE COLONIALISM and POISONING and INFRASTRUCTURAL NEGLECT that is leading to PREVENTABLE MASS DEATHS that are really MASS MURDERS enacted by the us settler state RIGHT TF HERE.
