A lesson from me dying & being brought back last year is that I appreciate knowing how valuable time is. We are here for a while & gone in an instant! 4K weeks in the average lifespan & every 5yrs you spend on nonsense is 6.5% of the average lifespan you’ll never get back.

Today’s church sermon got me misty eyed. “Pain is the greatest teacher” & “non of us pass through life without poignant lessons & ample opportunity for growth”. Lessons often lead us, if willing, to walk a different path. Had I not died in wife’s arms 15mo ago would I be here?

Been taking care of the neighborhood stray cats for a couple years now & had to have 1 put down today. I love animals much more than people & this just sucks, but it’s what had to be done. Rest easy little buddy!
