Not long to go now until our Club Fun Day! Plenty happening throughout the course of the day, starting with our Women’s softball team taking on counterparts from Duffield CC & Hilton Cricket Club in the EM Womens Cricket League! Come along and join in with the activities 🙂🏏

Unfortunately, rain is the only winner today. We’ll try to host our Club Day next Sunday instead and hope you will be able to join us in better weather conditions 🙏

First XI lost the toss and will field first here at Caunton. One positive is everyone found their way out into deepest, darkest rural Nottinghamshire.

First XI bowled Caunton out for 204 from 44 overs. After a promising start in reply, Bramcote are struggling at 43-3 from 15 overs after two quick wickets.

Not to be for the Firsts today. All out for 140 chasing 204. Good effort from the guys who gave it everything. But a great win for the Second XI. A mammoth first innings score of 282-6 was too much for Whatton & Aslockton, and the winning run continues 👌

Helping the Second XI to a commanding, and ultimately unassailable total yesterday, were fantastic contributions from Abhimanyu Billawria (112 not out) & William Mao (52). Here’s the 📸’s of Abhi reaching his ton and a content looking Will after his first senior half-century 👏

Congratulations to Thomas Evans on making the County honours board this week. Albeit in a losing cause for the First XI, his spell of 5-22 from ten overs (full figures were 10-2-22-5) was an excellent and fiery display of bowling 👏

Tomorrow our 1st XI round off their Division E league season by welcoming Kimberley Institute to #Bramcote Hills Park. Our 2nds make the short trip to Ruddington for another important game as they try and secure a top-2 finish. Both games get underway at 1pm. Go well everyone! 🏏

Kimberley Institute won the toss here at Bramcote Hills Park and chose to bowl first on a green-looking wicket. Game reduced to 36 overs per innings due to the gloomy forecast for later.

🚨 Promotion alert! 🚨 With a 46-run victory away at Ruddington yesterday, the 2nd XI secure 2nd place, and promotion, in South Nottinghamshire Cricket League Division H! Huge congratulations to captain Satish, vice captain Sam, and the rest of the guys who’ve contributed so magnificently all year 🥳

A little more information about our charity match raising money for Mind this coming Sunday at #Bramcote Park. The teams have been chosen and it’s a showdown between Team 🔵 and Team ⚪️. We’re hoping the weather forecast improves, but will try and get the game on as best we can!

Today, we held a charity cricket match at #Bramcote Park to raise money for Mind. Miraculously, we completed a fun T20 game before the slightly later than expected deluge arrived ☔️ We’d like to thank 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝘾 CC who provided players for the game! Check out the pics 📸
