A memorial tribute has been placed on the San Clemente Pier in honor of the 13 U.S. service members who lost their lives on August 26, 2021 at Hamid Karzai International Airport's Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan. The tribute can be viewed on the pier through September 2.
