Ever wanted to learn more about the history of Beckenham Place Park? The Friends will be organising a history-themed walk around the park this Sunday. Meet at the mansion steps at 2pm. All are welcome and there's no charge or need to book.

The only swimming going on in the lake today, a delightful duck family - Mum and eleven ducklings. The water level has been slowly rising over the last few days, courtesy of the aquifer borehole; a bit to go yet before it's ready for the rest of us.

Join the Friends on The Cator Trail tomorrow afternoon, starting at 2pm from the Mansion. We'll walk through the park to St. George's Churchyard to see the Cator tomb & also a tour inside the church. Then onto Kelsey Park if you have the stamina!
