Bourne Ladies C played a good competitive match against Avondale at home yesterday evening in the ADLTA, although Avondale won despite our teams best efforts. Well done all for a good effort!

Well done Barney Brown! Bourne Club junior, Barney Brown, winner of the Bourne Club 'Road to Wimbledon' tournament went on to win a further 3 rounds to get to the semi-final at St George's this July. Well done Barney - we are all very proud of you!

The Bourne Club Fastest Serve Competition raised £41.70 for Phyllis Tuckwell - thanks to all for participating. The winners were Justin Worthy with 101 mph and Rosie Northcott Smith at 78 mph - well done both! Thanks also to Jane Sturgess for hand delivering the proceeds.
