Today York ISSP Summer School we looked at mathematical proof, Boolean logic and logic problems. We then used PROLOG to solve problems. It's a language I first came across at uni but our year 7 and 8s tackled it with ease!

What a great week York ISSP Summer School. I always love getting back into the classroom full time and working with amazing students who lapped up everything I could throw at them. Thanks also to Eric for being a great assistant. Look out for more maths with ISSP next year.

At last. York Minster Choir chorister Sam gets the chance to watch his Dad on the back row with @BoothamSchool choir when they sing Evensong tomorrow. Nearly 40 years since Mr B was last in the stalls York Minster when visiting with @BroughtonChoir. Will be a special moment.

It was a very special Evensong. Bootham's first visit to the Minster in its two-century history, but we won't wait another 200 years before the next one.
