《Documents》20230712 ヴィクター・シラ展 「NO PLACE: SOMEWHERE」 　異常気象も極まった灼熱の中、銀座のIG Photo Galleryへ。 　2006年に作家がアリゾナ〜メキシコ国境付近で撮影した、移民に関する写真／映像素材を再構成した展示。内陸の乾いた荒野と移民の痕跡を撮影した写真は、

民俗学の調査の記録写真みたいでクールだった。 　10数点展示されている写真作品は、すべて同じフォーマット。大きく引き伸ばした写真の隅に、小さな写真を1枚か2枚貼り付けている。たとえば、低木地帯の風景を映した大写真に、捨てられたペットボトルを見下ろした小写真、といった具合に。

この配置により、観客の視線は荒野の眺めから足元へと誘導される。 　つまりここでは、組み写真によって視点の移動と時間の経過が構成されている。そしてこれらの組み写真をいくつか見ていると、自分がアリゾナの乾いた空気の中を歩き回っているような感覚になる。会場の真ん中に小さなサボテンが
