As a somewhat neutral fan, this MLS postseason schedule stinks. And the product on the field reflects it. The only good news is that in like 3 weeks the next season starts.

Good luck to all of the MLS teams who are “starting the season over” this week and to the “1 game doesn’t mean anything - keep it going” teams in week 2.

In a matter of 2 hours we went from “how far can we go?” to “we just have to lose to England by less.”

Based on my experience of playing with Argentinians my entire life, their fans will probably handle this loss in a calm manner, with a rational and collected state of mind.

I have a theory. The better you are technically at soccer, the worse you are at throw-ins. Spain is my shining example of this theory.
