These double releases by Ulthar on 20 BUCK SPIN are each fucking incredible. One traditional banger album ‘Anthronomicon’ followed by an expansive, labyrinthine beast with 2 sprawling 20 min tracks ‘Helionomicon’. Blackened Technical Death at its absolute best.

As a complete unashamed Metallica fanboy this album ticks all the boxes. More consistent & cohesive than Hardwired & DM. Hetfield is the star here. His best vocals on any album for me, he sounds majestic. Anyone who says the songs are too long I can see but I don’t care 😂

Been to many gigs over the years but seeing the Double OG ICE T & BODY COUNT last night in Glasgow was a religious experience. Absolute riot & the place was eating out his hand! Ice T is and always will be one of the most important figures in alternative music. #legend
