You know what actually makes me happy. The gate of no return, in Ghana. When a black American visits it, it is a testament to human resilience. “It may take us a few generations, but we’re going to return!”✊🏿

Sometimes you need to focus on your Why. Our why is, because we want to cultivate a community where blackness can be encouraged and not just permitted to exist because it is monetized. 👀
