We are delighted to announce that Brian Canavan finished 3rd M55 at the recent Rathfarnham 5k (29th September) receiving his first ever Dublin Championship medal 🥇

As if this man's marathon record wasn't impressive enough... he completed two marathons in just one week - amazing work from #BlackrockAC marathoner Bryan Sheils .... who completed the Dublin Marathon on Sunday and the MCI marathon Templemore 6 days later!!

Another weekend and another marathon for #BlackrockAC Bryan Sheils! 🥳This time in Athens, motherland of all marathons. That finish line in the Olympic stadium will surely tempt other club members to add this marathon to their bucket list 🤩

From weekend morning runs to weekday evening runs, there are plenty of training opportunities to join other fellow runners with #BlackrockAC 💛🖤. Speaking of evening runs, no better way to staying motivated through the winter dark evenings than running with friends 🙌

Grainne Grennan ran as part of the Irish F65 team at the 35th British and Irish Masters Cross Country International in Belfast on 16th November. Out of a field of 35, she came in 8th (00:29:05) and was a scorer on the Irish team who were first overall. Congratulations!!

Last Tuesday ahead of our training session, #BlackrockAC runners met for the annual picture wearing the Dublin City Marathon t-shirts. We also had a little award ceremony to celebrate the great results we had at this year’s Dublin City Marathon and at Frank Duffy 2024 10mile
